We are looking for a team mate who wants to work with us in our vision of

We are looking for an experienced Conceptual Design Engineer specialised in vehicle body engineering design to be assigned in our R&D Conceptual Design team.
This critical role influences critical factors such as vehicle exterior appearance, interior volume, aerodynamic properties and safety.
What is the job waiting for you?
· To make conceptual design of new vehicle models
· To make economic and engineering feasibilities of new designs
· Development of Body Concepts:
o Creating body concepts suitable for the intended use of the vehicles, passenger capacity, brand image and aerodynamic targets.
o Determining the most appropriate solutions by evaluating different materials, production methods and design approaches.
· Aesthetic Design:
o Creating aesthetic designs that will ensure that the exterior appearance of the vehicle is attractive and modern.
o Creating a unique and memorable exterior appearance in accordance with the brand's design language.
· Aerodynamic Design:
o Making aerodynamic optimisations to reduce the vehicle's air resistance and fuel consumption.
o Evaluating aerodynamic performance through methods such as wind tunnel tests or CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analyses.
· Safety Design:
o To design body structures that maximise passenger safety in accordance with crash, rollover and other safety standards.
· Material Selection and Optimisation:
o Selecting suitable materials (steel, aluminium, composite materials, etc.) for body production and optimising these materials in line with criteria such as weight, durability and cost.
· Determination of Production Processes:
o To determine the most suitable production methods (welding, gluing, pressing, etc.) for the production of the fuselage.
· Technical Drawing and Documentation:
o Creating a 3D model of the fuselage and preparing detailed technical drawings.
o To create technical documentation covering all the data and results obtained during the design process.
· Collaboration with Teams:
o Working in close co-operation with other engineering disciplines, design, production and quality control teams, product management and marketing departments to ensure the holistic design of the vehicle.
· Compliance with Standards:
o To create designs that comply with national and international safety standards, emission regulations and other legal requirements.
· Cost Optimisation:
o To offer cost-effective solutions by evaluating different materials and production methods to reduce body cost and weight.
· Innovation:
o To integrate new technologies and design approaches into body designs by following the developments in the industry.
Responsibilities:
· Project Schedule: To complete the tasks in accordance with the determined project schedule by working on the calendar and effort in accordance with the processes related to the subject that will be worked on.
· Quality: To ensure that the designs comply with quality standards.
· Problem Solving: Finding solutions to technical problems that arise during the design process.
· Reporting: Regular reporting to management on design processes and results achieved.
· Documentation: Identify and document work outputs, lessons learnt and revisions to work processes.
What we are looking for?
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry (in vehicle body engineering design)
Education: Graduated from Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related department
Areas of Expertise:
Body and structural design, vehicle Technologies
Computer Skills: Advanced command of CATIA software, command of other CAD/CAM software (NX, SolidWorks, etc.) will be an advantage.
