Long Term Internship at Mercedes Benz Türk

We are currently seeking interns who will be responsible for supporting the business processes in the related department in coordination with other team members. Interns will be located in Istanbul and Aksaray locations.

We offer internships in the following departments:

- Purchasing

Purchasing department controls the purchase process for bus and truck raw materials and parts. They control the relations with suppliers and evaluates new vendor options.

- Production

Production Department is responsible of efficiency, optimization of the processes in order to deliver Mercedes Benz bus &truck products on time. Production involves welding, dying, assembly and end-line finish processes.

- Quality

Quality Department supervise the compliance of standards in production process and monitors accomplishment of customer preferences. They also audit workplace health and safety.

- R&D

R&D Department’s role starts from developing the new product and continues until the feedback from first user and plans the improvements according to these feedbacks. Mercedes Benz Turk has R&D Center for both bus and truck operations.

- Controlling

Controlling Department carry out financial analyses to provide input for long term strategical decisions. They analyze budget plans to achieve yearly/monthly targets.

- Technical Training Center (Human Resources)

Technical Training Center supports the business related development of the blue collar employees through internal trainings. Idea Management system, which consist employee suggestions for process improvement, is managed by this department.

Qualifications

· Valid enrollment as a university student during the entire internship period

· Business Administration or Engineering background preferred,

· Able to work 5 days in a week for min. 3 months period,

Have a good knowledge of German, English and Turkish both written and spoken,

· Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills,

· Strong teamwork skills and multicultural awareness.
