Role Profile

We are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. In this role, you will play a critical part in the presales lifecycle — engaging with clients, identifying their business challenges, and proposing tailored AI and data-driven solutions.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy translating technical concepts into business value, working with cross-functional teams, and being part of strategic digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with our sales, solution management, product, and delivery teams to ensure client success from proposal to project handoff.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical sales process for AI & Data-driven projects, from qualification to demo and proposal phases
  • Understand client business goals and translate them into suitable technical solutions using KoçDigital’s capabilities
  • Prepare and deliver solution presentations, demos, and Proof of Concept (PoC) scenarios tailored to client challenges
  • Create and manage presales documentation including technical proposals, solution architecture, integration outlines, and SoWs
  • Collaborate closely with sales, solution managers, product, delivery, and domain experts to craft client-centric solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders in defining the best-fit AI/Data architecture and approach
  • Ensure a seamless knowledge transfer from presales to implementation teams for successful project delivery
  • Represent KoçDigital in client meetings, events, and industry forums with technical confidence and consultative poise
  • Position advanced analytics solutions tailored to quality and efficiency goals.
  • Position advanced analytics solutions to assess product quality and reduce waste, with a focus on high-quality production standards.
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing and energy processes to effectively interpret data insights and drive impactful solutions.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from development through deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
  • Communicate complex analytical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.

General Qualifications


Educational Background

  • Ph.D. or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a technical sales, solution consulting, or presales engineering role
  • Proven track record in selling or positioning AI, analytics, or data-driven solutions to enterprise clients
  • Hands-on involvement in end-to-end presales cycles, including client discovery, solution design, demo/PoC delivery, and proposal development
  • Experience working alongside sales and delivery teams in B2B technology consulting environments
  • Exposure to manufacturing, energy, retail, or finance industries is highly preferred
  • Previous experience engaging with business and technical stakeholders (including CXOs, product managers, data scientists, and IT leads)


Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of AI and data-driven solution patterns (forecasting, anomaly detection, recommendation, etc.)
  • Ability to articulate and position KoçDigital’s AI & Data solutions based on business outcomes — not algorithmic complexity
  • General understanding of common AI domains such as:
    • Computer Vision (e.g., quality inspection, OCR, object detection)
    • Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g., document automation, chat-based solutions)
    • Predictive Demand Management (PDM) & Predictive Quality (PDQ) for industrial use cases
  • Ability to advanced analytics solutions tailored to manufacturing quality and efficiency goals
  • Familiarity with data architecture, pipelines, and technologies (SQL, Python basics, data lakes, cloud platforms like Azure/AWS/GCP)
  • Awareness of ML lifecycle tooling (e.g., MLflow, Docker, model monitoring tools) and demo environments
  • Experience in preparing technical sales materials and driving PoCs is highly valuable
  • Familiarity with database systems, data lakes, and warehousing solutions.
  • Understanding of optimization techniques (linear programming, constraint programming, stochastic optimization, and evolutionary algorithms) and their application in operational improvements.

Analytical & Business Acumen

  • Strong understanding of business processes and the application of advanced analytics to solve industry-specific problems.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, energy, retail or finance industries is a strong plus
  • Understanding of digital transformation drivers in B2B environments
  • Ability to assess business pain points and recommend suitable technical solutions
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or energy is advantageous, with a strong understanding of processes and industry-specific challenges.
  • Knowledge of edge computing and IoT integration for smart factories is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to explain technical topics in business-friendly language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
