We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer for our global customer which has been producing soft candies.

About this position

• As part of global BI team, you are responsible for analyse, conception, design and development of Business intelligence solution with Microsoft tool stacks. Backend and Frontend.

• You carry out ETL-Development in SSIS, SQL and T-SQL queries, business data model and reporting for different data sources and different solution areas (e.g. Finance, SCM, OTC, MTS)

• You concept and implement high-performance key figures and data models

• You bring your technical knowledge to performance analysis and optimization in MS-SQL

• You implement Power BI solutions for business areas.

Key Responsibilities

As a BI Frontend/Data Engineer you ensure that data is collected, stored, and made accessible for analysis. You are architect behind the scenes, responsible for building, maintaining, and organizing the infrastructure that enables the organization to leverage data effectively. In essence, you bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights, making them a crucial asset in data-driven decision-making.

Experience

• Your completed studies in informatics, (business) computer science, data science, mathematics, physics or a comparable course or several years of professional experience in the BI/data analytics environment,

• Relevant experience in Microsoft Visual Studio (SSIS, SSAS and SSRS),

• Relevant experience with Power BI, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) und Power BI Report Server,

• Sound knowledge in data warehousing, building tabular models, dealing with large amounts of data,

• Very good SQL and T-SQL knowhow,

• Experience with SAP BW,

• Experience with other reporting and analytics tools,

• SAP Analytics Cloud Story (SAC), AfO or SAP BO experience,

• You have already gained experience with agile working methods (e.g. Scrum),

• Experience with Microsoft .Net development,

• First experience with cloud BI solutions (e.g. Databricks, MS Fabric, Azure),

• Experience in taking on (partial) project management functions and the associated stakeholder management,

• Strong analytical, incident resolution and problem-solving skills,

• An independent, proactive and at the same time team-oriented way of working,

• Strong interpersonal communication skills,

• Passion for Collaborating closely with business stakeholders,

• Professional English Language Skills,

• (You can express yourself clearly, in a structured manner in detail on complex issues.),

• German language skills,

• Willingness to travel.
