We are currently looking for Paint Process/Quality Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Develops & manages paint processes by studying requirements.

Ensures all quality documentation for the new and serial products are prepared in conformance to Ford Otosan & FOE standards.

Work 100% on-site with production teams to ensure the operational excellence of paint production teams

Ensures daily process quality and coordinates activities with the team to improve paint quality

Providing management and solutions for quality problems encountered in production lines.

Establishes the necessary back-up strategy to continue production as a result of malfunctions in equipment and ensures that this is known by all teams

Collecting quality data, analysing results, and summarizing quality metrics, providing analysis and reports for daily/weekly/monthly plant indicators review meetings, and guiding production teams accordingly

Understands paint robot capacity (Cycle Time), creates machine line loads and implements equipment contingency plans

Leading root cause analysis studies with the production team for effective 8D.

Supporting the identification of root causes of internal and external (customer) issues, coordinating sorting and containment activities, following up, and reporting the action plan with the production team

Drives production output, efficiency & cost improvements through bottleneck management.

Creates, tracks & uses metrics that emphasizes safety, quality, efficiency & cost.

Ensuring the sharing of information regarding quality issues caused by suppliers with stakeholders, implementing ICA/ERA and PCA corrective actions in collaboration with the Incoming Quality team to prevent quality issues from affecting vehicle quality, and ensuring the invoicing of losses.

Maintains and ensures compliance with process documentation for standardized work

Promotes cross training, job flexibility and versatility of staff, including development of training schedule

Works with cross functional team to create efficient job station layouts for new models.

Must be well organized, skilled in documenting results and procedures.

Must be able to influence people to collaborate and achieve division targets

Responsible Health&Safety subjects for zones.

Must be apply all issues end to end at responsible zone.

Responsible new color launch and SVO paint programme planning.

Responsible ISO 14001 Environment Management System, ISO 9001 Quality Management system’s procedures and requirements

Responsible the paintshop projects (new model projects ,digital&smart paintshop projects, running changes).

Qualifications

BSc / MSc degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Electrical&Electronics Engineering

Strong analytic problem-solving skills

Strong data analysis capabilities including continuous improvement experience

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Knowledge and proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.

Advanced English language skills (verbal / written)

Role Location: Kocaeli /Yeniköy
